Overview
Each wedding, like each couple, is unique, and we can tailor a wedding for every couple’s requirements. Some brides and grooms choose to marry in the vines, surrounded by nature. Or, a wedding ceremony can be performed indoors. Perhaps you may prefer our atmospheric tasting room or ambient restaurant for an intimater, smaller boutique ceremony. Alternatively, a couple may wish for a wedding outside on our terrace patio (we can also provide wet weather cover in the event of a rainy day). And, our Grand Marquee can host larger ceremonies and weddings, offering photogenic views inside and out.
Tirohana is a wedding venue for a wedding photos, meals and celebrations. Our in-house wedding catering is fulfilled by our award-winning vineyard restaurant team. We supply a wide choice of beverages including our handmade, boutique award-winning wines. We also have experience of catering for large groups, functions and events. For example, we are a participant site in Toast Martinborough each year. And, we also host our own themed dining events such as our Grand New Years Eve Ball.
Our passionate team is happy to work with couples on each aspect of the wedding. Including celebrants, music, entertainment, transportation and other accommodation requirements in Martinborough and the Wairarapa.
We also have accommodation available on site at our Tirohana Colonial House for the bridal party or wedding guests at our Tirohana Colonial House (the house can sleep 16 guests).
